About us
OKD AGRO SERVICES LIMITED is one of the foremost agro service companies in Nigeria. OKD Agro Services Limited is a registered limited liability company and 100% Nigerian owned. Its major responsibility is to provide goods and services in all agricultural operations from land clearing, land preparations, mechanical planting to weed control, sales and supply of agrochemicals, provision of improved seeds and seedlings. Our services also include plant diseases control, provision of automated farm machines and equipment and storage facilities.
We belief that mechanized farming enhanced with adequate professional support services will empower both commercial and peasant farmers with the opportunities to cultivate large expanse of land without drudgery and earn good returns on their investments through a tremendous increase in their crop yields. We also provide agro consultancy services, extensive irrigation services and haulage logistics.
Our firm is made up of experienced Researchers, Consultants, Foreign Expatriates, Agricultural Engineers, Agronomists, Economists and a large pool of experienced Technicians and support staff. OKD Agro-Services provides goods and services that would enhance food security and sufficiency for the teeming population of the country.

Management
Bakai Okedara – Chairman/CEO
The Management of OKD Agro Services Limited is under the leadership of Bakai Okedara. He doubles as the Chief Executive officer/Managing Director and the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Bakai Okedara is an astute businessman and a farmer. He attended The Ibadan Polytechnic where he obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration in 1977. After one year of mandatory youth service, he worked briefly with the Federal Ministry of Works where he left in 1980 as the Principal Store Officer handling procurement to start his own business.
He ventured into Agricultural related business immediately he left the Civil Service. Amongst the notable Agricultural firms he had rendered Agricultural services to are Obasanjo Farms and Abiola Farms. He was a major supplier of fertilisers and mechanized farm implements. He has executed several high profile projects for the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, State governments and multinational private farms. Bakai Okedara is a man of high integrity and has the doggedness and tenacity to drive the fortune of OKD Agro Services Ltd.
Babatunde Okedara – Executive Director
Babatunde Okedara is an Executive Director and one of the Group of Directors. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from University of Abuja. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma from the Enterprise Development Centre of The Pan Atlantic University, Lagos. He has attended many seminars and workshops within and outside the shores of Nigeria.
Our Team
Engineer Kamil Okedara – Consultant
He led the team leader in discharging the above responsibilities. He is a Chartered Engineer with vast knowledge in Mechanical Engineering. His management knowledge always assists in project management while his technical prowess ensures best professional services.
Engineer I.I. Adeoye – General Manager
Engineer Adeoye is a graduate of Water Resources Engineering with Irrigation Engineering as his field of specialisation. He started his career as an Irrigation Engineer with Oyo State Agricultural Development Project. He later joined Phillip Morris International as Senior Research and Development Manager. Later he became a Consultant on Fadama II Project and LEEMP in Oyo State before joining OKD Agro Services Ltd as General Manager. He has 33 years working experience in Agricultural related field.
Afelumo J.I. – Principal Agronomist
Afelumo is a product of the University of Agriculture Markurdi with B. Agric (Hons) Agronomy. He holds Ordinary Diploma in Food Science and Technology of Ogun State Polytechnic (now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic) Abeokuta. He had course in Agricultural Technology and Practice (Rice and Cassava) in Thailand. He has worked with various Agricultural establishments like Sotinoye Aderupoko Farms (S&D Farms Ltd), Obasanjo Farms Nigeria Ltd for over 18years before joining OKD Agro Services Limited.
Okeleye Shamsideen – Farm Manager
Okeleye is a graduate of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic with an Higher National Diploma (HND) in Management. He attended the Institute of Agriculture, Obafemi Awolowo University, Moor Plantation Ibadan for his National Diploma in Farm Management. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators (CISA). He is a practising farmer. He started his own Agro Allied Industry (Ranks Agro Allied) in 1987.
SAMUEL OLUWAGBENGA ISHOLA – Agricultural Engineering
He is a product of Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State. He worked as an Agricultural Engineering in the project site. He is in-charge of Agricultural equipment of the Company.
IDOWU AMOYE MllA, ACMA,ACA,ACTI – FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
Idowu Amoye is the Financial Controller of the Company with emphasis on finance management and control. He is a member of Institute of Internal Auditors (now Certified Internal Auditors – United Kingdom). Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (United Kingdom) and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He has over 22 years working experience, which spread across mining/mineral resources, merchant banking and consultancy.
